Sorry I didn't have time to post this earlier - totally slipped my mind with all I have going on.
We had a meeting a couple weeks ago to meet the other PDS students at our schools and to get to know each other a little, as well as learn a little more about our next steps.
I found out there are 14 girls total at my location, and some I knew a little already. We talked to each other and got a little more comfortable, but I'm excited to talk more and create a bond during our PDS experience.
We also found out our interviews will be in February to place us with our coordinating teachers. Apparently its very low pressure and we will just be talking to the site coordinators so they can match us with someone with similar philosophies and personalities.
Sadly, I will not find out my grade level or school until this summer. That feels so far away from now :(
Another thing I need to focus on is my math class next semester, and taking the Content Test. I'm not too worried about the test since I do pretty well on standardized tests, and hopefully math will be a huge learning experience, since it's my last math class and my only non-endorsement subject.
There are so many tests and certifications to become a teacher it is overwhelming! I cannot believe how close I am.
