I'm kind of sad about my working with RTI so far - I only got to work with my cute third graders for a couple weeks, and I haven't had a normal week with my fifth graders (hoping this week is it!) With snow days and mistakes and early dismissals, I haven't had my kids for a full hour and a half each week and we are on week 4/6! Hopefully we get to do all 6.
Tutoring has been going well! I met my student, and have been doing some informal assessments, such as reading inventories, reader feelings lists, and writing prompts. I feel like I am making some interesting observations, so I am curious to see how these things evolve into lesson plans to help her!
I have to do my first running record this week, AND I have an informal interview with my site coordinators for PDS! It's supposed to be just to match us with an appropriate cooperating teacher, but I'm nervous.
I also have my content test this weekend. Hopefully its easy as everyone says! I'm looking at practice tests and questions and trying my best!!
